22 and 23 November 2008 held an event commemorating the revolt of the silk workers in 1831. A number 0, which confirmed what we felt at the start of this project. This period in the history of silk weavers passion. The conference Ludovic Frobert, extracts of the play of Praise Canuts were followed by a hundred people. Sunday morning over 80 people made the journey in the footsteps of Canuts punctuated interventions in the company of Yellow Dog. In the afternoon a large audience, between 80 and 100 participants took part in the debate held high on union publications and listened to the association Popular music of Lyon. Add visitors to the exhibition we have not accounted for.
Success and encouragement that require us to prepare now for the 2009 November Canuts. The bases of this event were affirmed on 22 and 23 November. We remember them: The backbone is the Echo de la Fabrique, the program must be both cultural, recreational, informational, historical, and show the link between fights, thoughts, suggestions and analysis of the 1830 Canuts and those of today. This project, led jointly by the Company of Yellow Dog and Robert Luke, do not deviate from these foundations. By cons, in this framework, all ideas, all skills are welcome to book. That is why we are launching the first meeting of this group from this December.
