After renovated Fabre Museum is a new site devoted to culture which opens in Montpellier. Built in the late nineteenth century on the Champ de Mars (now Esplanade Charles De Gaulle ), the Musée Fabre Pavilion hosted temporary exhibitions during the four years of renovation the museum. Available to the Community of Agglomeration by the city of Montpellier, he now returns to its original name, the Pavilion popular and becomes a new space dedicated to photography.

by presenting a special exhibition about Charlie Chaplin. from 18 h 30
Charlie Chaplin and images "is the first exhibition of this size made from the family archives. With more than 300 documents, it traces the life of filmmaker and actor who was the first international star
modern times, along with an artist internationally known for its universal message equality and justice for all. Guises rarely announced, the exhibition evokes the concerns of Charlie Chaplin about its image, its dissemination and reception. 
The exhibition has four themes: "creation Charlot, "" Chaplin the filmmaker, "" recognition in exile "and" the word of Chaplin, Charlie's death. It consists of different media including the photographic archives of Chaplin Studio (250 photographs), album Keystone (stills accompanied by handwritten comments) film clips (making off, footage, movie scenes or home movies), albums release of Chaplin's studio .
