L e opening took place at 18 h 30 in the castle park of the town hall. The park is open to the public at 14 pm It is therefore possible to arrive early to start by checking out the exhibits, but do not miss the opening at 18 h 30. And most importantly, you will leave with the wonderful exhibition catalog, and perhaps the special issue Fotocittà of specially produced for the occasion. Expect an evening longer than usual to allow you to view different projections and proposed to meet the authors at the scene.
E ntirely dedicated to the Biennale de l'Orangerie Park will host the rich program of this first edition which has received support from the town of Lunel-Viel and community of municipalities in the country of Lunel. Nearly two dozen exhibitions are offered to the public during the festival that brings together artists to explore different authors and recognized through their production to the press or publishing. Their common denominator: to have chosen to speak in group of independent photographers, small structures with the best logistics for sharing information and bringing together the energy to respond to institutional orders, support the creation and dissemination production.

D years one of the most ancient villages in the region, the vast area of natural park houses an orangery style of Napoleon III inspired some photographers who find the field at different facilities situ among which the public will be surprised by a collision at liberty, both in the formats in the media. With works that reveal the current concerns of contemporary photography, the authors demonstrate their presence in the world and talk about their relationships with others. Environmental concerns, identity issues, critical eyes on a reality sometimes frustrated, sometimes sublime, so many questions going through a production it would be unrealistic to try to reduce to a single category (reportage, documentary photography, visual, conceptual). Practice in any case that eludes conformity and is legitimized by its roots in a human or social reality that is constantly questioned. A photographic practice that does not exclude, however, formal research or artistic issues related to the place of photography within the visual arts: real and perceived reality, and off camera, inside and outside, inclusion and exclusion, boundaries, border etc..
